We use existing and develop customized selection tools with a scientific approach to validation. We conduct a thorough job analysis to determine the critical competencies needed to be successful on the job. Then, we develop tools that will accurately and validly measure those key competencies. Last, we analyze results to ensure that the tools do measure success on the job as well as organizational fit, and are legally defensible.
Assessment Services
We also offer assessment services for selecting mid-level and executive candidates. We can administer cognitive ability tests, personality assessment tools, and structured interviews and provide you with a detailed report of a candidate’s strengths and development areas to support your selection system.
Competency Modeling
Competency models are used to define the capabilities required to be successful in an organization and guide how people are hired, trained, developed and promoted in organizations. We will work with you to identify the key competencies that reflect the values, priorities, and strategic goals of your organization. Once competencies are identified across an organization, people can see what skills are required to be successful. Then they can seek out the appropriate training and experience to develop as they move within the organization.

Coaching
Coaching is an effective and increasingly popular way to enable leaders to maximize their performance and reach their full potential. Coaching builds awareness, empowers choice, and leads to change. People Advantage offers coaching with certified coaches for executives and managers geared toward accelerating one’s career, long term goal setting, and overcoming obstacles to advancement. We work directly with leaders as well as with organizations that identify a coaching need. Our coaching is offered as a stand-alone service, or can be used in conjunction with an assessment to provide support for development areas identified in feedback.
